Tiers: 3 tier

Narrow enough for the gap beside the fridge
Rolls out so nothing is stranded at the back
Three or four tiers to suit the height you have

The Gap Beside The Fridge Is Storage

Most kitchens have a slot of dead space — beside the fridge, at the end of a run of units, under a worktop overhang — that is too narrow for a cupboard and too useful to ignore. A narrow trolley on castors fills exactly that, and unlike a shelf it comes out when you need the back of it.

Choose three or four tiers. Three suits a worktop-height slot; four uses the full height where there is nothing above it.

Rolls Out, Rolls Back

Castors are the whole point. Everything on a static shelf in a narrow gap becomes unreachable at the back within a week. Pull the trolley into the room, take what you want, push it back — and cleaning the floor underneath stops being an annual event.

Kitchen, Bathroom Or Craft Room

Snacks and jars in a kitchen, towels and bottles in a bathroom, paints and paper in a craft room. It is one of the few pieces of storage that people buy a second of within a month of the first arriving.

Frequently Asked Questions

How narrow is it?

It is built for slim gaps rather than as a general shelf unit. Measure your gap at its tightest point, including any skirting or pipework, and allow a centimetre or two of clearance so it rolls without scuffing the units.

Three tiers or four?

Three if it needs to slide under a worktop or an overhang. Four if it is standing in open floor space, since the extra tier is free storage in a footprint you are already giving up.

Is it hard to assemble?

It arrives flat and the frame slots and screws together with what is in the box. Fit the castors last and stand it on a level floor to check it before loading it up.

Will the castors mark a wood floor?

On a sealed floor, no, provided you keep grit out from under the wheels. If you are rolling it repeatedly across an unsealed or soft floor, a runner or a felt pad under the resting position is worth doing.

How much weight will a tier take?

Enough for jars, tins, bottles and packets, which is what it is designed for. Keep the heaviest things on the bottom tier so it does not become top-heavy when you pull it out at speed.
