Right of Withdrawal

Right of Withdrawal

Last updated 28 August 2026.

This page sets out your statutory right to cancel, which applies to consumers buying at distance under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 in the United Kingdom, and the equivalent consumer protections in the European Union.

These are your legal rights and they exist independently of anything else on this site. Our own Return and Refund Policy gives you 30 days rather than 14, so in most cases it is the more generous route. Nothing here reduces your statutory rights.

Your right to cancel

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party you have named, takes physical possession of the goods. Where an order is delivered in several parcels, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.

How to cancel

To exercise this right you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement. Email sales@lavishens.com, or write to us at the address below. You may use the model form at the foot of this page, but you are not obliged to.

To meet the deadline, it is enough that you send your communication before the 14-day period expires.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard cost of delivery. Delivery is free on all our orders, so in practice this means the full amount you paid.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day we receive the goods back from you, or 14 days after you supply evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.

We will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, and you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

Returning the goods

You must send the goods back without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day you tell us you are cancelling.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods where you are cancelling because you have changed your mind. Where the goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, we bear that cost.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Exceptions

The right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, or to sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed. It does not apply to business purchases.
