Lavishens is a UK homeware shop for people who care what their home feels like, not just what it costs. We sell lighting, storage, clocks, mirrors and the small useful things that make a room work.

What we look for

Everything on this site has to earn its place against three questions. Does it do its job properly? Will it still look right in three years? Is it priced honestly for what it is?

That rules out a great deal. We would rather list forty things we would happily put in our own homes than four hundred we would not.

How we work

We are a small independent operation based in Poole, Dorset, run by one person rather than a team. We do not manufacture anything ourselves and we do not hold stock. We select products from established suppliers and manufacturers, and when you order, the item is shipped to you directly from the supplier who makes or stocks it. That is how a shop this size can offer free delivery on every order with no minimum spend.

Our suppliers are based in the UK, Europe and Asia, so some items reach you sooner than others. We would rather tell you that plainly than promise next-day delivery we cannot keep. Full timings are on our Shipping Policy page, and nothing on this site is described as made by us.

If something goes wrong

Then we put it right. You have 30 days to change your mind for any reason. If an item arrives faulty, damaged or simply is not what you ordered, we cover the return postage and refund you in full. No restocking fees, no arguments.
