Chrome & Brass Wall Light | Modern Minimalist LED Sconce | Quashion

Refined Simplicity, Everyday Elegance

The Quashion Wall Lamp puts a ribbed, frosted glass globe on a short polished chrome arm, a pairing that feels both contemporary and quietly traditional. The vertical ribbing in the glass breaks up the light and gives the globe depth, so it looks like a considered object rather than a plain white ball. At 20 cm high and projecting 20 cm from the wall, it is compact enough for a hallway yet substantial enough to flank a bed or a bathroom mirror wall in a dressing area.

Why You’ll Love It

Frosted, ribbed glass is the reason the light from this lamp is so easy to live with: the source is completely hidden, and what reaches the room is a soft, even glow with no hot spot. It suits low-level evening lighting far better than a downlight does, and its one to three square metre rating tells you what it is for, an intimate pool of light rather than whole-room illumination.

The chrome is a plated finish on a metal body, chosen because it holds its shine and resists tarnishing in humid rooms; wipe it with a dry cloth and buff off any marks. The lamp is LED compatible, so running costs stay low and lamp changes are rare. It is a hardwired fitting for dry indoor locations, and should be installed by a qualified electrician away from any bath or shower zone.
