Dual Globe Wall Light | Nordic LED Sconce in Gold or Black | Lunara

Sculptural Elegance in Every Curve

The Lunara Wall Light is closer to wall-mounted sculpture than to a conventional sconce. A single ribbon of satin gold iron curves away from the wall and carries two opal glass globes at different heights, so the piece has movement and asymmetry built into it. Across 26 by 28 cm it holds its own on a bare wall, while the slim frame keeps the whole thing from feeling bulky in a bedroom, a hallway or beside a stairwell.

Why You’ll Love It

Two globes rather than one is what makes the light quality here worth paying for. Each opal sphere is lit from within, so instead of a single bright source you get two soft, rounded glows at different levels, which fills a wall far more evenly and flatteringly. Both G9 LED lamps are included, so the fitting arrives ready to work, and their low power draw makes it practical to leave the light on through an evening.

Opal glass and iron are both forgiving materials: dust the frame with a dry cloth and clean the globes with a lint-free cloth when they are cool. Because the globes unscrew, replacing a lamp years from now is a two-minute job. It is a hardwired fitting and should be installed by a qualified electrician. In a room that already has good general lighting, this is the piece that supplies atmosphere.
