Sculptural Glow Meets Timeless Bauhaus Design
Inspired by the balance of light and shadow that defines Bauhaus thinking, the Bauhaus Eclipse Wall Lamp turns a bare stretch of wall into something worth pausing over. A gold-finished disc stands proud of its backplate and the LED throws light behind it, tracing a soft halo around the rim.
The body is iron with a glass diffuser, finished in a warm gold tone that reads as brushed rather than mirror-bright, so it picks up the colour of the room instead of bouncing glare back into it. Two sizes are offered: a 10 cm disc for narrow walls, and a 15 cm version for a bolder focal point.
Design and Materials
Because the glow is entirely indirect, treat this as ambient lighting rather than a reading light. Fitted as a pair along a hallway it gives you enough to move by after dark; above a bedside table it stays low and easy on the eye. It suits a landing, an alcove, or the wall behind a sofa.
Installation is hardwired to a standard wall box, so bring in a qualified electrician if you are not confident working with mains. The LED is integrated, so there are no bulbs to source and little heat at the surface. Wipe the disc with a dry microfibre cloth and avoid solvents, which dull the gold colour.
