Glass Globe Wall Light | Modern Sconce in Gold, Black or White | Makar

Effortless Sophistication for Every Space

The Makar Wall Light is a study in restraint: a smooth opal glass globe cradled in a slim metal ring, with nothing else to distract from the pairing. That simplicity is what lets it move between rooms and styles so easily, whether it is mounted beside a bed, repeated down a hallway or used singly as an entrance accent. At 15 cm wide and 18 cm high it is a genuinely compact fitting, and it comes in black, gold or white.

Why You’ll Love It

Opal glass is not the same as clear glass with a coating; the diffusion happens through the material itself, which is why the globe glows evenly all over instead of showing a bright patch where the lamp sits. The fitting takes a standard E27 lamp, so the brightness and colour temperature are yours to choose, and its five to ten square metre rating makes it a capable secondary light for a bedroom or a landing.

The bulb is not included, which keeps the choice open. Universal voltage means it works on standard mains supply, and it should be wired in by a qualified electrician. Cleaning is simple: let the glass cool, then wipe it with a lint-free cloth, and dust the metal cradle in the same pass. What makes it worth buying is its evenness of tone, three finishes that suit almost any scheme, and a shape that will not look dated.
